Peter Vandermey is a seasoned culinary professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry. His career began in corporate restaurants, including Olive Garden, Red Lobster, TGI Fridays, and Cheesecake Factory. Inspired to delve deeper into the culinary arts, Peter soon transitioned to fine dining and country clubs, leading him to pursue formal training. He graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts and Culinary Management from Grand Rapids Culinary Academy at Grand Rapids Community College in 2003.

 

Shortly after, Peter moved to North Carolina, where he helped open a seafood restaurant on the coast of Kitty Hawk. A year later, he relocated to Los Angeles, working initially at the ArcLight Theater before joining the Dolce Group, in partnership with Ashton Kutcher, at prominent venues like Geisha House and Ketchup. During this period, he also worked on the set of Deal or No Deal and in 2011 became a personal chef at the Playboy Mansion, cooking for Hugh Hefner.

 

Peter has collaborated with notable catering companies like Creative Catering and Wolfgang Puck, serving an impressive roster of celebrity clients, including Michelle Williams, Bishop Noel Jones, Kobe Bryant, and the Jackson family. Today, Peter offers private chef services, focusing on delivering fresh, personalized culinary experiences.
